  1. Love the bright turquoise one, also the one in the middle with just a hint of colour.

  2. All so different in mood.
My vote goes for the middle one - seems like a sunset with birds flying as one across the skyline...
think this scanning concept could become addictive!

    1. Thank you Catherine and Judith for your comments. This exercise has spurred me on to consider how to add colour or to use it in the next piece. - Sian

  3. I love your idea of putting all these variations side by side, in a sort a composite panel, makes me think of Andy Warhol.

  4. These images look absolutely fantastic Siân but after scanning the image you have lost me. Did you put it into Photoshop or was it some other software package? Daniela is right it does look like Andy Warhol! Next stop Tate Modern!

    1. To answer your query Ros, yes, I used PaintShopPro to change the settings to make these effects. If only I could say it was difficult - but its all to easy, I could waste lots of time playing with them all.
I can see what you mean about the Andy Warhol connection Daniela!

  5. Thanks Siân. I am a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to graphics packages but this does look fun.

    1. I also always use PainShopPro - an old version. It does not cost much and makes whatever we need, and more. Photoshop is really an expensive software and only professional photographers use it, as far as I know
