Holiday this year was floating down a gentle Canal du Midi in the south of France, away from not only the computer but any electrical supply! Just enough time between locks to throw some Koh-i-noor paint from my new little paint box onto long, narrow sheets of paper that now comprises my sketchbook for this holiday.
This piece of folded card was used as a 'drawing board' for all my paintings done on separate sheets of folded papers.
Sketchbook pages placed side by side which will be folded and tied into the folded card cover.
it sounds like you had a wonderfully relaxed and productive holiday!
ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful. I love your sketchbook pages.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely, they really evoke water and reflections.
ReplyDeleteThey look great - can't wait to see the textiles!
ReplyDeleteThey look great gives me inspiration to try something similar when I'm travelling.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful way to travel, I love the idea of painting between the locks, you certainly did catch the essence of the water you travelled by.
